Area Events – Summer Fest, Great American Think Off, Running Wild Trail Run, and The Ronald McDonald House Ride

This upcoming weekend is packed full of activities! Summer Fest is June 12-13 (Friday to Saturday) in Fergus Falls and is a community celebration including a parade, children activities, crafters, music, food and more! For more information make sure to check out the Summer Fest website.

Do you like to listen to debates? Then head over to the Great American Think Off in New York Mills on June 13th. This event is put on by the Cultural Center and will be held at the Performing Arts Center at the school. Four finalists will debate a moral/ethical question in which you then can cast your vote for “The World’s Greatest Thinker.” For more information go to the Cultural Center’s Website.

Want to go run wild on a trail run? Then make sure you check out the Running Wild Trail Run at Maplewood State Park this Saturday, June 13th. It is a 7k and 1-mile trail run or hike. For more details and to register go to the Running Wild Trail Run website.

Another event this weekend is an event that raises money and runs rain or shine. The Ronald McDonald House Ride in New York Mills is the World’s largest motorcycle benefit ride and will be leaving the Mills VFW at 12 noon on Saturday.
