Hello East Silent Resort Friends...

As our guests aleady know, East Silent Lake provides some of the best and most diverse fishing in the Otter Tail area. East Silent Resort is also just minutes from hundreds of other excellent fishing lakes. Lake Lizzie near Detroit Lakes offers great Walleye, Northern Pike and Bluegill numbers. Star Lake near Dent also specializes in Northern Pike and Bluegill. Dead Lake is located about 3 miles south of Dent and connects to Otter Tail and Walker lakes via the Dead River. In less than a month (May 9th, 2009) the Walleye and Pike fishing opener will be here. With fishing season right around the corner, it has us thinking about our favorite "fish stories" from 2008.
