Minnesota Fishing Report

img_3969We had a rainy couple of days here in Otter Tail Lakes Country but now, the sun is shining and the weather is perfect for fishing. Just don’t forget the sunscreen! Once you have put your sunscreen on and you are ready to head out on the water here’s where you will find the fish. Walleyes are being found in depths of 10-20 feet using jigs, minnows, leaches, and shiners. Northern Pike are swimming after sucker minnows and spoons in weed lines of 10-15 feet of water. Use leaches or minnows in depths of 5-7 feet to find those Bass. Lastly, look for Sunfish and Crappies in shallow waters of 3-5 feet and use night crawlers and crappie minnows. Have a wonderful week fishing and we hope to see you soon in Otter Tail Lakes Country for some great summer fun!
