Minnesota Fishing Report

WalleyeAfter a beautiful Memorial weekend here in Otter Tail Lakes Country we finally got a good taste of summer to come. June is almost here and the fish are biting! Walleye are still swimming in the creeks and rivers and also in the shallow weed lines. Many fisherman report successful fishing outings when using jigs and minnows. Crappie and Sunfish appear to be swimming in the shallows and bay weeds. Try about 6’-8’ of water. Try using leeches, worms, and crappie minnows to land them in the boat this week. Northern fishing in Otter Tail Lakes Country has been superb the past several days. Northern can be found in about 20’ of water, near weed lines. Have a wonderful week of fishing and we hope to see you in Otter Tail Lakes Country for some summer fun!
