Otter Tail County
Experience Otter Country Trail Association’s 280 miles of the best groomed and signed trails, with numerous connections to other area trail systems. Groomers are working to shape up the trails due to some hard snow drifts resulting heavy snowfall and high winds. Expect the entire system, from the northern at Cormorant Pub, Rothsay, Elizabeth, Pelican Rapids, Maplewood State Park and Vergas, down through Underwood, Battle Lake, Clitheral, Vining, Ashby and back to Fergus Falls to be fully groomed by the weekend. At Maplewood State Park, nearly 3 feet of snow covers the ground! All ski and snowmobile trails have been groomed, and conditions are very good to excellent. The trails have an 8-10 inch base. Enjoy a Candlelight Ski event this Saturday, February 23.
