August is here and the activities are in full force. This weekend will be a busy one!

One major event this weekend is WE Fest. It’s at Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit lakes and is a camping and country music festival. For more information check out the WE Fest website.

Another great event happening is Otter Fest. There will be a demo derby, parade, music, food, vendors and activities. For more information visit the Ottertail City Website. In association with Otter Fest, on August 8th there will be a pancake breakfast at the Ottertail Community Center. There will be all the pancakes and sausage you can eat. Free will offering.

Another community festival happening this weekend is the Parkers Prairie Fall Festival. There will be fun activities all weekend, with a parade at noon on Sunday!

One more activity for this weekend is the Art of the Lakes’ & Craft Affair. It is at Railroad Park in Battle Lake. There will be local artists displaying their art and crafts. For more information check out the Art of The Lakes website.
