Blanche Lake is a 1,228-acre lake located in central Otter Tail County approximately four miles northeast of Battle Lake, MN. Just within driving distance from our East Silent Resort, Blanche Lake provides family members great opportunities to enjoy fishing and other water recreation!

Blanche Lake has a maximum depth of 64 feet; Emergent vegetation, such as hardstem bulrush and common cattail, are prevalent throughout the southern portion of the lake. Emergent plants provide spawning areas for fish species such as northern pike, largemouth bass, and panfish.

Blanche Lake can be ecologically classified as a walleye-centrarchid type of lake and this is reflected in the assemblage of the fish community. Walleye, largemouth bass, black crappie, and bluegill are the dominant gamefish species in Blanche Lake.
