Maplewood State Park -Pelican Rapids

Fall colors have progressed rapidly, and most of the trees are past their peak. Fall colors vary from shades of yellow and gold in the leaves above ground to tan and brown in the oak trees. The colorful prairie grasses are providing a spectacular contrast with the many golds and browns covering the rolling hills. Some of the sumacs still are holding onto their crimson red leaves.
