Minnesota Birding Report

It has been a hot and stormy week in the northwest, as elsewhere, so birding reports are few.

At Glacial Ridge in Polk County on July 11, Rolf Paulson reported SANDHILL CRANES  and territorial SEDGE WRENS.

Shelley Steva had a female COOPER’S HAWK  fly through her yard in Thief River Falls, Pennington County , on July 10.

From Cass County, Dale Yerger reported a singing CONNECTICUT WARBLER  along CR 135 on July 12.
