It has been a quiet week here in the northwest as far as birds go. Weather has been in a holding pattern also after a couple of very cold days, it has warmed up again and most of the snow that we had is now gone.
There have been few reports this week, but first a brief update . I have not had any reports of the LEWIS’S WOODPECKER in Roseau County since the last post on MOUnet on Tuesday , November 12.
Marshall Howe reported a GOLDEN EAGLE in Dorset , Hubbard County, on November 10. Two RUFFED GROUSE have been coming to his crabapple tree this week.
Leon Thoreson observed three EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVES in Climax , Polk County on November 9. At his farm nearby, he has two AMERICAN GOLDFINCHES coming to the feeder.
In Kittson County at the John Younggren farm four miles west of Hallock along the Two Rivers, there were three EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVES as of November 11.
