Minnesota Fishing Report

Family Fishing

Fishing remains very good for all species. Warm water temperatures are lingering around 70 degrees. Cooler temperatures are in the forecast, and water temperatures are expected to drop significantly in the next couple of weeks. Leeches continue to work well, but are no longer available in the area. Anglers are transitioning to a minnow bite and larger minnows are working well for the walleye anglers. Look for most of the walleyes to still be on mid-lake structure, biting in 18-26 feet of water on most lakes. Water levels are currently low so please use caution at public accesses.
