Minnesota Fishing Report

DSC09134It has been another wonderful week here in Otter Tail Lakes Country, even though we did have a couple really hot days. The fisherman are still fishing away and finding some big ones. When fishing for Walleye look in 10-20 feet of water using jigs, minnows, snells, leaches, and crawlers. Then get out your sucker minnows and snells and use them to catch Northern Pike in 15-20 feet of water along the weed lines. Bass are being found near docks and water depths of 8 feet in the weeds using spinner baits and senkos or jigs with minnows. Lastly look for panfish, Crappies and Sunfish, in water depths of 7-15 feet along the weed lines. Use crappie minnows, wax worms, night crawlers or leaches to catch your panfish. While out fishing in Otter Tail Lakes Country please remember that Otter Tail and Becker County have no wake zones, from shore to a 100 yards out. Keep our lakes looking beautiful. Have a wonderful week fishing and we hope to see you in Otter Tail Lakes Country for some great summer fun!
