Minnesota Fishing Report

WalleyeIt’s been another beautiful week here in Otter Tail Lakes Country with finally some much needed rain. Don’t let the rain stop you from heading out on one of the many Otter Tail Lake Country lakes though! Walleye are being found in 10-20 feet of water during the day when using jigs with minnows and bottom bouncers with night crawlers. After dark look for those walleyes in 5 feet of water using a rapala. Use your spinners, tube jigs, and senkos in 5-8 feet weed beds to catch some Bass. Hunt for those Northern Pike in 12-20 feet of water with minnows or troll at that depth. Move on over to the weeds in 8-10 feet of water and use flu flu, wax worms, or night crawlers to catch Sunfish or Crappies. Last but not least, Muskies are being found in the evenings using bulldogs or spinners in 10-15 feet of water. Have a wonderful week fishing and we hope to see you in Otter Tail Lakes Country for some great summer fun!
