Few anglers have been venturing out onto area lakes. Anglers that do head out are advised not to drive their vehicles onto the ice since most plowed roads have snow drifts making travel difficult. Snowmobiles, track vehicles and foot travel are the best mode of travel on the lakes. The ice measured 28-30 inches thick last week.
