Fergus Falls/Otter Tail County

Experience Otter Country Trail Association’s 280 miles of the best groomed and signed trails, with numerous connections to other area trail systems. Groomers are working to shape up the trails for the weekend following the additional 4 inches of snow. Expect the entire system, from the north at Cormorant Pub, Rothsay, Elizabeth, Pelican Rapids and Vergas, down through Underwood, Battle Lake, Clitheral, Vining, Ashby and back to Fergus Falls to be fully groomed by the weekend. At Maplewood State Park, more than 2 feet of snow covers the ground. All ski and snowmobile trails have been groomed, and conditions are very good. The ski trails have a 10-12 inch base, and the snowmobile trails have an 8 inch base.
