The panfish bite has been strong, even during the frigid cold temperatures earlier this week. The walleye bite slowed significantly, but it is expected to improve as the temperatures rise. Maplewood State Park has approximately 10 inches of snow in the woods. All 11km of ski trails are groomed and in fair to good condition, with a 2-4 inch base. The snowmobile trails were groomed late last week, and rides report fair conditions.

It was a beautiful day in Otter Tail Lakes Country yesterday. Mild temps allowed us to spend the day hiking and sledding. Today is much colder (-8).
