Vacation Home 4 – Otter Tail County Resort Paradise

Here is our latest update for our newest vacation home! The basement received its final wall and you can start to see where the different rooms will be. We like to think that our family resort is a Otter Tail County Resort Paradise. Nestled back in the trees you immediately feel a sense of relaxation when coming down the drive. The crystal clear lake and sandy beach are perfect places to spend your entire day. Whether you are sitting in one of our beach chairs, or playing on one of our numerous water toys, your day will never be wasted! If you did want to wander off and do some exploring, we are located just 7.3 miles or 13 minutes from Maplewood State Park. Maplewood is a beautiful park that provides numerous hiking trails, horseback riding trails, and a swimming and picnic area. One our favorite spots to tell guests about is Hallaway hill overlook. This overlook has a steady incline for most of the trail, however, at the very end it does get quite steep for the last leg of the trail. Once atop of the overlook you look over the park and numerous lakes. In the fall, this is a destination for many to see the vibrant colors that fall has to offer. It is a great place to sit back, enjoy the view and a have breath of fresh air.
