Looking for something fun to do this Saturday? On Saturday, March 15th from 8 am to 4 pm come to the Praire Wind Middle School for the 2014 Horticulture Day! It’s only a short drive from East Silent Lake Resort and will be a fun and educational experience for every type of gardener. For only $25 per person, come listen to the keynote speaker, Meleah Maynard, give some “Decoding Garden Advice” at 9 am and then classes start at 10:30 am. Also including with your registration fee, you will receive informative handouts, refreshments, door prizes, and lunch. Some of the classes throughout the day include: Frugal Gardening, Gardening Art, Bird Feeding, Butterflies, Square Foot Gardening, Edible Landscaping, and so much more. There are workshops for everyone! Also there will be a lot of great garden vendors at this event to get you ready for summertime in Minnesota! So get your gardening gloves on and join us at Horticulture Day!
